Volunteer
Urban Peak provides a multitude of opportunities to get involved and make a difference in our community, such as by serving meals at the Shelter, teaching a class and more. We couldn’t do our important work without your help!
in-kind donaTions
By making an in-kind donation, you ensure that our youths’ most basic needs are covered and readily accessible. From there, they can begin to heal their trauma, work toward their long-term goals and ultimately create a self-determined and fulfilling life.
There are two ways to support us with an item donation. You can keep it simple by ordering items most needed by our youth directly off Amazon, or you can personally drop off an item donation.
Donation drop-offs are by appointment only. To schedule a drop-off, please call 303.974.2951.
Sponsors, Community Partners & Employer Partners

Establishing a positive relationship with Urban Peak for three or more months dramatically improves the lives of homeless youth.
For youth who spend at least 90 days working with Urban Peak, their chances for (a) positive, sustainable housing, (b) addressing challenges or needs like substance abuse, (c) securing access to healthcare, and (d) making positive connections with adults and community resources increase significantly. Research shows that living in temporary housing with supportive programming for at least two months can reduce the likelihood of chronic homelessness in youth.
Attend an Event
Attending an Urban Peak event is a powerful way to connect with others who are passionate about youth facing homelessness and provide direct support for our services.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Xcel Energy is a proud partner of Urban Peak and is honored to support their employment and training programs. We know that employment levels directly impact a community’s economic prosperity and Urban Peak is on the front lines helping Colorado youth reach their full potential.
