Announcing Urban Peak’s Shelter Transition

On Wednesday, August 24th, Urban Peak’s shelter services temporarily moved to our Drop-In Center at 2100 Stout Street, known as The Spot. As a result, the Shelter on South Acoma is no longer in service.

Youth ages 15 through 20 will be able to access shelter services at The Spot 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition, we will continue to provide regular Drop-In Center services to any youth experiencing homelessness, ages 15 through 24.

The relocation of shelter services is possible because of our capital campaign fondly known as The Mothership, which will replace our aging Shelter with a new campus at the same location once construction is completed in approximately 2 years.

If you are directing youth to Urban Peak, our address is 2100 Stout Street. Our 24-hour phone number is the same, 303.974.2900. And youth can always find help at urbanpeak.org.

For any questions about the Shelter move, please contact our Assistant Director of Shelter Services at benjamin.kinghorn@urbanpeak.org or call 303-974-2904. Thank you for being the spark!
