Effort to convert vacant Denver hotel into housing for homeless now heads to Senate

The U.S. House of Representatives today approved a package of annual appropriations bills that will, among other things, provide millions of dollars to local non-profits and governmental agencies working to provide assistance to those experiencing homelessness in the Denver area.
