David is a former Urban Peak youth who successfully transitioned out of our programs. He has served on Urban Peak’s board, where he is currently secretary, since 2013 and is a small business owner.

“Throughout my time at Urban Peak, I came to learn what it felt like to have people in your corner, no matter what. The staff provided unconditional hope, and unconditional hope becomes contagious.”

Dick is one of the longest-serving Board members at Urban Peak (since 1990) and served as Board Chair during the height of the pandemic.

Dick and Karen shared, “For 34 years, we've actively supported Urban Peak's mission to help unhoused young people. I believe all of us working together can give our youth an opportunity for a successful future.”
