Ben Kinghorn joined Urban Peak in 2014 as the shelter supervisor and was promoted to assistant director of shelter services in early 2022. He assumed his role as director of shelter services in the summer of 2023.

Ben currently oversees all shelter services at The Mothership. Prior to Urban Peak, he worked at a RHY-funded youth shelter in Nashville, TN and was there for 8 years before moving back to Denver.

Ben received his master's degree in human development counseling from Vanderbilt University.
