Marita started at Urban Peak as a housing case manager in November 2015. She is experienced in working with numerous housing subsidies and served in several roles before beginning her position as director of housing in January 2024.

Marita has spent more than 20 years working with youth experiencing homelessness and was previously a family support specialist and homeless youth case manager at Children's Home of Illinois. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
