Shannon Tafoya joined Urban Peak in May of 2018.  She has served in several human resource roles within the agency, beginning her position as director of human resources in the fall of 2022.

Prior to joining the Urban Peak team, Shannon worked in the for-profit sector and in the architectural & engineering field as an HR manager as well as director of human resources. She has been promoted through the ranks over the last 15+ years and continues learning through hands-on experience, professional development training on new laws and policies, her own research and guidance through committee engagement.
