Urban Nights 2024

A few weeks after youth moved into The Mothership, Urban Peak and many of our supporters came together to celebrate at the Urban Peak Sneaker Ball, our annual fundraiser gala that celebrated sneakerhead culture, philanthropy and the long-awaited opening of The Mothership. We are grateful to our Urban Nights chairs AJ Shaikh, Ale Spray and Daniel Venegas for their support!

Urban Nights is always such a good time, not only because it’s magical to bring all our diverse supporters together in one space for a great cause, but also because it provided the opportunity for us to honor two longtime Urban Legends, John Farnam and Paul Heitzenrater, for their tireless advocacy on behalf of and dedication to Urban Peak youth. John and Paul, thank you both so much for your work, your support and most of all your big hearts. ❤️

To cap off the evening, we were joined by special musical guests, the Grammy award-winning Rebirth Brass Band, who brought the jazz, funk and second-line parade vibes all the way from New Orleans!

Urban Nights is more than just a big party or fundraiser. It’s a chance for everyone in the Denver community to come together and celebrate Urban Peak wins, big or small. In the often unpredictable homeless services industry, it’s crucial to take moments here and there to step back and enjoy the progress we’ve made. And everyone seemed to have a great time dancing along to the band! 😊
